5th Annual UNAMS Conference

The fifth (5th) Annual UNAMS Scientific Conference will take place from Friday 23 April 2010 until Sunday 25 April 2010, in the city of San Francisco, California. This year, UNAMS has partnered with two major medical organizations to bring you, perhaps its most dynamic conference in its history.

  • Global Partners in Anesthesia and Surgery (GPAS) - A San Francisco-based non profit that sponsors specialized training in Anesthesiology and Surgery in medical schools in the developing world. Five Ugandan doctors are under sponsorship for the MMed degree at Makerere University College of Medicine. See: http://www.globalpas.org/

  • University of California San Francisco (UCSF) - This year's conference will be held on the campus of UCSF Medical Center on Parnassus Avenue, in downtown San Francisco. See: http://www.ucsfhealth.org/

    • Staff and Faculty from both organizations are actively involved with the UNAMS Conference Organizing Committee in organizing this year's conference. The theme this year is: "Collaboration & Innovation in Improving Health in Sub-Saharan Africa"

Registration


Conference registration is $20 USD for students with valid ID and $100 for non-students. The cost to attend the dinner is $75 for students and non-students.
